Sydney Long's state track meet was over before most of the athletes even got off their buses, but the timing didn't matter much. The Westmoore senior closed her high school career as a two-time state champion. With a distance of 18-8 3/4, she won gold in the long jump for the second straight year. The 6A girls long jump was one of the first events to be completed Friday morning, and Long wasn't scheduled to compete in any other events.
