Sitting at 15-4 and in second place in District 6A-3, the Deer Creek Antlers took a doubleheader from Ponca City on Tuesday night. In the nightcap, starting pitcher Hunter Freese threw a five-inning shutout in the Antlers' 10-0 run-rule win. He struck out six and walked none, allowing only three hits, and retired the side in order in the first two innings. Kaden Polcovich was 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored, Kenny Yetter was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, Cole Davis was 2-for-3 with a run and Kaden Marshall had a pair of runs and an RBI and walked twice. In the opener, the Antlers used a big second inning to pull away from the Wildcats en route to a 14-5 win.
